The feel of today
If I had to pick a color, a smell, a noise and a sensation
all would get reflected in this song by Bon Iver
This my excavation and today is kumran
Everything that happens from now on
This is pouring rain
This is paralyzed
I keep throwing it down two-hunded at a time
It's hard to find it when you knew it
When your money's gone
And you're drunk as hell
On your back with your racks as the stacks are your load
In the back and the racks and the stacks of your load
In the back with your racks and you're un-stacking your load
Well I've been twisting to the sun and the moon
I needed to replace
The fountain in the front yard is rusted out
All my love was down
In a frozen ground
There's a black crow sitting across from me
His wiry legs are crossed
He is dangling my keys, he even fakes a toss
Whatever could it be
That has brought me to this loss?
On your back with your racks as the stacks are your load
In the back and the racks and the stacks of your load
In the back with your racks and you're un-stacking your load
This is not the sound of a new man or crispy realization
It's the sound of the unlocking and the lift away
Your love will be
Safe with me
This is pouring rain
This is paralyzed
I keep throwing it down two-hunded at a time
It's hard to find it when you knew it
When your money's gone
And you're drunk as hell
On your back with your racks as the stacks are your load
In the back and the racks and the stacks of your load
In the back with your racks and you're un-stacking your load

Your love will be
Safe with me

A mi madre
ESTE
presente
liso
como una tabla,
fresco,
esta hora,
este día
limpio
como una copa nueva
—del pasado
no hay una
telaraña—,
tocamos
con los dedos
el presente,
cortamos
su medida,
dirigimos
su brote,
está viviente,
vivo,
nada tiene
de ayer irremediable,
de pasado perdido,
es nuestra
criatura,
está creciendo
en este
momento, está llevando
arena, está comiendo
en nuestras manos,
cógelo,
que no resbale,
que no se pierda en sueños
ni palabras,
agárralo,
sujétalo
y ordénalo
hasta que te obedezca,
hazlo camino,
campana,
máquina,
beso, libro,
caricia,
corta su deliciosa
fragancia de madera
y de ella
hazte una silla,
trenza
su respaldo,
pruébala,
o bien
escalera!
Si,
escalera,
sube
en el presente,
peldaño
tras peldaño,
firmes
los pies en la madera
del presente,
hacia arriba,
hacia arriba,
no muy alto,
tan sólo
hasta que puedas
reparar
las goteras
del techo,
no muy alto,
no te vayas al cielo,
alcanza
las manzanas,
no las nubes,
ésas
déjalas
ir por el cielo, irse
hacia el pasado.
Tú
eres
tu presente,
tu manzana:
tómala
de tu árbol,
levántala
en tu
mano,
brilla
como una estrella,
tócala,
híncale el diente y ándate
silbando en el camino.

I don't want to turn the blog into
a diary (already have one)
but
yesterday was a fine day
and
as i was walking in the city
I captured things
that if i were inspired
to write
i could probably
explain/describe
explain/describe
using words
It's not
the case
so
the case
so
I use
images
that sometimes
dicen mas que mil palabras
Dog affair en Washington Square Park
This pic is from a while ago
but
usually Pia is
not this loving with dogs
and
right now
the idea that
everything is
possible
sounds
enticing

Feels like Fall…
In NYC.
Change of seasons…
Seems like everything in my life is about change nowadays…
If I can remove the anxiety that comes with it
Change is a good word.
Happy Friday.

Beautiful photos by Ryan Tatar
what he chooses to document
the colors, the shifts...
I look at them and feel
some sort of bliss
like at home

Not really liking September
I am having a hard time dealing with this month...and it´s only day 11 :(
I don't have much inspiration for the blog
but I still want to keep it fresh
and use it as originally planned:
"a place to
collect my thoughts, moods
and all those things that inspire ..."
so here we are para lo bueno y para lo malo.
On that note, I decided to turned yesterday into a parenthesis in my life
and scape to the Hudson Valley.
There I noticed that when things look dark and confusing
the little things
are the ones that help you smile
and breathe...

Mixed feelings
